Children's Summer Theater Camp Session I (June 10 - 14, 2024) "Critters of Sherwood Forest"

The Sul Ross Children's Summer Theater Camp "Critters of Sherwood Forest" is for kids ages 7-12. Campers will play theater games, create masks, costumes, props, and rehearse an original play about the many animals and magical creatures of Sherwood Forest. The week will culminate in a performance of the play for family and friends! 

The SR Children's Summer Theater Camp is fun, interactive, and fosters creativity, empathy,  and play. Campers will explore improvisation, voice, and movement for the stage as well as art and design projects led by Sul Ross Theatre Program faculty.

Session I: June 10 - 14 from 9:00 am - 2:00 pm 

Each session is $125 per child, which includes a supply fee and two tickets to see Theatre of the Big Bend's production of Sherwood: The Adventures of Robin Hood running at the Kokernot Outdoor Theatre July 5 - 28. Register here online or pay with cash or check in the Fine Arts Building, Room 106 Monday - Friday from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm. Closed from 12:00 - 1:00 pm for lunch.  

Camp will be held in the Sul Ross Fine Arts Building Studio Theater with time outside on the SRSU lawn.

Campers need to bring lunch and a water bottle each day. Snacks will be provided. Waiver and emergency contact forms must be filled out for each child no later than the first day of camp. Forms will be emailed to parent/guardian upon registration. Additional copies of forms may be found in the Sul Ross Fine Arts Building, room 106 during normal business hours (Monday - Friday 9:00 am - 5:00 pm).
